Rhys Radio is a community radio station for Treherbert and the Upper Rhondda Fach. The radio station is managed by Cwmni – the regeneration partnership for the area and is part of the RCT Community Radio Partnership. Rhys Radio is licenced to be on air 4 weeks at a time and will broadcast a range of music, features and community information.

Rhys Radio's first visitor on day one ( Mon 2nd July) was our local Assembly member Leighton Andrews who dropped in at the Treherbert studio to be interviewed by local presenter Andrew Rutledge
